After much frustration with reading off the scale from the standard vernier calipers, i’ve decided to purchase a digital one. I searched quite a few areas locally, including Sim Lim Tower, Sungei Road, but the average price is around $40 dollars. I got lucky when i found a shop selling a pair of 150cm digital vernier calipers for only $26!
If anybody is interested in getting a pair, do drop me an email !

Hi, got it from a hardware shop near my house. It is located at sin ming. You can try http://www.motherland.com.sg, but they have a much wider range of products. The site is pretty outdated.
